Fear not America, the Germans have come up with a cost effective answer! This week German Soldiers were USING THEIR OWN CARS to act as TANKS in an exercise as there weren’t any available to to chronic under funding! They will be using their BICYCLES to act as aircraft in the coming weeks assuming it’s not on a weekend or on overtime!

US saves the Soviet Union from total collapse and allies with them to destroy Germany. After Germany is defeated, suffering near total destruction, the Soviet Union becomes the greatest enemy of the West and Germany is expected to be one of the main states in the front line against them. Many decades on, even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, while the scenario is a bit different, it really is the same narrative. People don't see any problem with this?

I missed the part where they asked the U.S for cash or cover?
Civilian firms do most of the major overhauls in air forces these days , so when Airbus eff up , the military wears it.
I disagree ENTIRELY with the click bait title as the whole clip is almost verbatim from an article in TheDrive/TheWarzone ( link in description) I absolutely agree Deutschland should spend and recruit more , but to suggest reliance on the USA??
Britain had 19,000 troops in Germany, France had troops til 2014 there etc etc

Hm. Massive brain drain and retention issues. You can have nice toys, but if you can't maintain them, they wont stay nice for long. One issue they should work on is finding out why people are not sticking around after their first term. Another possible solution is a slow down of material procurement, and a greater focus on maintenance training. Civilian tech assists are expensive and should only be relied upon when all other alternative avenues available to a servicemember working on the equipment have been exausted.

This is ridiculous. the US Military exist to serve Russian special interests. How dare they, these Germans to beg for our support. Americans are ready to die for Russia but certainly not for Germans. After all, beloved Russians were our allies in WWII and they were there in spirit during our Civil War on the side of the righteous South. Traditional Americans values are the same as those of the Russian people we stand united against liberal fascist Western Europe.

After decades of NATO membership is the organisation right for Germany and Europe when fx a military like in Germany apperently doesnt work or should we (europe) instead work together and built a strong united military? Time to change. End NATO and lets work together on a new platform in Europe without depending on US jnfrastructure

What we get in return is combat uniforms for pregnant soldiers, transgender generals, 4-6 medics for each combat squad (of 10), the last flight hours of our Tornados spent in Jordanian, etc… The only positive news: the new G-BKF (any crashed helicopter will be picked up professionally;).

Many may have not noticed but Australia did not deploy it's Tigers to Iraq or Afghanistan because they were not considered Operationally Capable. One has too look at ex military types "officers and the like" being used by corporations to sell these poor quality aircraft and other military goods internationally. There is more to this story than one may think.

There are 29 member states in NATO, and as a requirement, the member must spend, at a minimum, of 2% of their GDP on their military. Only 5 member states meet this requirement: The USA, UK, Poland, Greece, and Estonia. That's it. We can get dragged into a war by some country that won't spend a dime on their own defense, and we're sick of it.

Basically EU,and i know for a fact that the problem with money is not only the Merkel's fault, but the german people too,why ? Cuz they conceive the idea of lowering the salaris or rasing taxes, why ? Because they are Germans and they deserve everything good and on a silver plate, they are not willing to do sacrifices to protect themself, and i know this because i was live on the same continent with them,i have german etnic grups in my country, and most importantly,iv been there and work there, personaly i don't understand why they are even in NATO in the first place, after 2 world wars we are supose to protect them and fight with them in war ?
I'm sorry to say so but they are not a really good alie…

It isn't just the hardware that makes a military. You need skilled staffing. You need an experienced officer corps. You need a proper staffing of senior sargent's to train new soldiers. It is eccentual to transform civilians into soldiers, sailors and airmen. Then later skills development of those new soldiers to perform at higher skilled levels.
This is a problem for all nations. Political leaders just throw away all the skilled military personnel after the need is over. At best send those skilled soldiers into some kind of reserve status that just drains that knowledge by disuse and attrition. Promotions for advancement are slowed to a snail's pace. In a world where you either move up, or, move out. Say goodbye to your skilled personnel.
It is not only material that is needed. You need to develop and maintain skilled people. Once you loose them, they are gone forever.

Germany doesn't have enemies, they don't need so much military like the US, Russia, UK, China or France. They already achieved the annexation of Est Germany.

I think they could ramp up production if necessary, and overall have good equipment, like the Typhoon, U-212 and Leopard 2A7+, that manage to export to many countries.

Germany already pays huge amounts to the US by gifting exports to get petrodollars.

Massachusetts (U.S.A.).

PREVIEW! La Resistance | Free(?) France | Hearts of Iron IV | 1

La Resistance, the latest expansion for Hearts of Iron IV is here at last, and what better way to discover what is has than to play as Free France? Germany rises strongly on our border, but I am confident that we’ll be able to hold them at bay. Or will we? If the unthinkable should happen, and France does fall then we will continue the war from our colonies – and with the resistance!

La Resistance comes with the highly anticipated espionage mechanics, allowing you to deploy agents to undertake intelligence actions together with operations to, among other things, sabotage your enemies, steal their technologies, and decieve with fake units. This expansion also revises the French Focus tree, and adds new focuses to Spain (with four Spanish Civil War factions!), and to Portugal.

Please like and subscribe to this channel if you enjoyed this preview of Hearts of Iron IV with the La Resistance expansion! It really helps out! Likewise, if you have any tips, critiques or advice please do comment as I’d be pleased to read them.
