    I really hate AlphaBOOST. Those are rock hard. Whatever material they used for those, they are no where near the same as every other Boost shoe. Not UB, not Yeezys, not NMD, not Iniki, not Nite Joggers… hate them!

    I'd love to see a similar design with react foam of this thickness and a Flyknit upper. Dope Ultraboost-ish collar, nice fuse reinforcements where needed, pop some rope laces on these with some Flyknit and a react midsole and you've got a winner.

    According to Nike, Renew is Lunarlon encased in Phylon foam (all Lunarlon is encased in all products). It's on the product page for the Renew Run.

    the Kd trey5 latest edition has this tech.. if you look at pics from website and look of midsole you think its a react shoe untill you check closer and see it actually says renew…never seen these marketed anyways

    Now in stores we have the new Nike Renew, for 91€, and has the Swoosh exactly the same as the Infinity Run, but the foam technology is actually Lunarlon and not React.

    I’ve owned a pair of these for over a year. By far the biggest problem I’ve had is that all the holes on the bottom of the shoe pick up small rocks. They get lodged in the holes and you will have to pick out the little buggars every once and a while which sounds easier than it actually is.

    I actually live in Vietnam and these renew and flex models seem to work better with Vietnamese feet I am currently wearing the renew arena and it's comparable to the pegasus 36 in terms of comfort on feet

Startup kündigt 50 Meter langen Wasserstoff-LKW an





Experten betonen immer wieder: Je größer und schwerer ein Fahrzeug ist und je länger es am Stück genutzt werden soll, desto sinnvoller ist die Nutzung einer integrierten Brennstoffzelle. Denn der dazugehörige Wasserstoff-Tank kann in seiner Größe leichter variiert werden als der in konventionellen Elektro-Fahrzeugen verbaute Akku. Diesen Grundsatz will das US-Startup Hyzon Motors nun auf die Spitze treiben: Das Unternehmen kündigte an, einen sogenannten Roadtrain mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 140 Tonnen auf den Markt zu bringen. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Zugmaschine mit drei oder mehr Anhängern. Solche Fahrzeuge werden in Nordamerika und Australien genutzt, um abgelegene Regionen zu versorgen. Bisher allerdings kommen dabei ausschließlich Verbrennungsmotoren zum Einsatz.

Auch Lastwagen und Busse sind in Planung

Um diese gewaltige Last nachhaltig bewegen zu können, will das Startup als erster Hersteller weltweit ein Brennstoffzellen-Modul mit einer Leistung von mehr als 100 Kilowatt einsetzen. Genau genommen soll der Roadtrain sogar mit einer 370-Kilowatt-Brennstoffzelle ausgerüstet werden. Die Auslieferung der ersten Modelle in Australien ist für das Jahr 2021 geplant. Neben diesem Großprojekt möchte Hyzon Motors auch im etwas kleineren Rahmen den Wasserstoff-Antrieb voranbringen. So sollen schon im Sommer 2020 zwei Brennstoffzellenbusse auf den Markt kommen. Dafür kooperiert das Startup eigenen Angaben zufolge mit einem etablierten europäischen Hersteller. Details dieser Vereinbarung wurden aber noch nicht bekannt gegeben. Im Jahr 2021 ist dann die Markteinführung von zwei kleineren Lastwagen sowie eines Transport-Vans geplant. Erst danach soll die Brennstoffzelle dann auch in PKWs verbaut werden.

Wasserstoff soll in den nächsten Jahren günstiger werden

Bisher allerdings besitzt Hyzon Motors noch keine wirklichen Referenzen in Sachen Fahrzeugbau. Es ist daher schwer abzuschätzen, ob die ambitionierten Zeitpläne der Firma tatsächlich realistisch sind. Hinzu kommt die Problematik, dass aktuell gar nicht genug preiswerter grüner Wasserstoff auf dem Markt erhältlich ist. BMW produziert einen PKW mit Brennstoffzelle daher zunächst nur in einer Kleinserie. In diesem Punkt macht nun aber eine Studie der Unternehmensberatung McKinsey Hoffnung. Die Analysten dort gehen in den nächsten Jahren von stark sinkenden Preisen für nachhaltigen Wasserstoff aus. Schon im Jahr 2025 könnten Brennstoffzellen bei Lastern demnach genauso viel kosten wie batterieelektrische Antriebe. Ab dem Jahr 2030 wäre dann auch der Preisvorteil von Verbrennungsmotoren verschwunden.
